The OpenGL Object is an extension for Multimedia Fusion 2 written by Min and Looki. It makes use of the Open Graphics Library ( OpenGL ), providing the ability to create hardware-accelerated 2D/3D games, graphics and applications. Development of the extension has been cancelled.
History and problems
The extension was originally developed by Min in 2008. After Min cancelled the project and released the source code, Looki picked it up and continued the development. After adding several new features to the extension Looki cancelled the project as well.
The extension is incomplete, contains bugs and its low-level architecture, largely consisting of direct calls to the OpenGL API, makes it difficult to use for people who are not familiar with the OpenGL API.
OpenGL Collection
The OpenGL Collection is a new set of extensions intended to replace the OpenGL Object.
