Pxtone Player is an extension for Multimedia Fusion 2 written by Podunkian. From the forum:
"The pxtone music format is similar to MIDI and MOD files, and was created by Studio Pixel, maker of the freeware 'Cave Story' game. The pxtone Player extension by Podunkian lets you play pxtone tunes in your MMF games. It was created for a game he is currently working on but has been released to the public to test, use and enjoy.
More information on pxtone (in Japanese), download link to composition and playing software and links to pxtone resources can be found at http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA022293/pxtone.html"
The latest version, 1.1, updated to the 0.9.1.4 version of the pxtone DLL, and removed the need for the MSVC runtime DLLs which prevented compiled games from running on certain computers.
